Mechanic’s Lien Waiver – $250

Prior to releasing funds to a contractor or subcontractor or any party involved in construction, the owner should have the party receiving the funds sign a mechanic’s lien waiver.

A mechanic’s lien waiver states that the party receiving the funds has received payment and shall not file a mechanic’s lien for the payment received. It is standard industry practice to have mechanic’s lien waivers signed.
